What is Chokmah?
Chokmah is a personal knowledge repository designed to serve as a second brain - a carefully curated space for storing and organizing key elements from various subjects that deserve easy access and quick reference. The project functions as a digital garden where knowledge is cultivated, organized, and made readily accessible when needed.
The Meaning Behind the Name
Chokmah (חָכְמָה) is the Hebrew word for “wisdom”. In the mystical tradition of Kabbalah, it represents the second sephirah in the Tree of Life, positioned at the top of the pillar of force/masculine energy.Chokmah symbolizes the primordial celestial intellect - the initial point of divine wisdom that emanates from God’s will before being shaped by understanding (Binah). It represents pure, undifferentiated wisdom at its source.
About the Creator
This knowledge base is maintained by Raquel Neres, a Computer Science student at IFES Serra (Instituto Federal do Espírito Santo, Campus Serra). Background
Raquel is fascinated by the idea of taking something abstract and seeing it work in the real world through programming. Her journey includes:- Academic Research: Spent a year as a researcher in Machine Learning, working with medical image classification and exploring how AI actually makes decisions
- Full Stack Development: Currently exploring development with Vue, React, JavaScript, and Python
- Philosophy: Enjoys challenging projects, well-thought-out code, and that very specific feeling when something finally works after several attempts
